As some of you know, I organize and produce the Warsaw Premier Bridal Expo that is held each year at the Orthpaedic Capital Center at Grace College in Winona Lake. I decided to tackle this “beast” about 2 1/2 years ago when our youngest daughter was born(I guess I didn’t have enough things to keep me occupied besides a husband, two boys and a new born!) The show is going on its third year and I extremely please with how well it has grown over the years. Each year, we have great exhibitors!
If you attend the Warsaw Premier Bridal Expo, you will have the opportunity to speak with any type of vendor you need to plan your BIG day!
Including cake artists, musicians, reception venues, caterers and reception venues! This year we will feature runway shows at 1pm and 3pm with attire provided by One Fine Day Bridal & Gown Boutique and Male Fashions. Hair and makeup artistry will be provided by Southwood Designs. All of the stage and runway arrangements along with bouquets will be provided by Anderson Greenhouse. If you are engaged and plan to marry in 2013 or 2014, I hope you can stop out at the Warsaw Premier Bridal Expo Sunday, February 3rd!
We have had the opportunity to work with some amazing couples this year. As we all know, there is a lot of planning up to the wedding day. I am blessed to have the privilege of getting to know these couples up until the BIG day. Honestly sometimes I fall in love with these couples. Amanda and Brad were definitely one of those couples!
When I initially met with Amanda and Brad the year before, they had decided they wanted a unique video to share with their family and friends before the wedding. We decided to produce a story of how they met. Amanda and Brad met in New York but had moved to Wabash recently. So they had been through some big changes in life recently! Amanda’s family has owned a farm and property for many generations. In fact, she had never lived in Wabash up until their recent move. But she had been given the opportunity to live at the farm. Brad knew how important it was to Amanda so he agreed to the move. Take a look at their story…
Then, there was the beautiful wedding at the Honeywell House in Wabash, Indiana. The Honeywell House is beautiful for an outdoor wedding ceremony and reception. Amanda chose a rustic, historic theme for the wedding. Most importantly they had many personal touches throughout the ceremony and reception. I also loved that they did not have a large wedding party but instead chose to have their brothers stand with them. Take a look at their wedding day…
Amanda and Brad, thank you for allowing us to be part of your day!
Companies can utilize video for brand improvement, improve conversion rate or SEO improvement. We are changing the perception that videos are only used for brand management. Videos should be used for increasing conversion rates and making money for your business.
A recent example of positive results from video use has been the Zappos.com study on placing simple product videos on their website. According to ReelSEO Zappos reported a “6% to 40% increase in sales for products with videos”. They use the video to describe, use and demonstrate the products with real Zappos employees and not models or actors. Take a look at the videos Zappos is creating. They are simple, and basically showing different ways to wear the shoe. Zappos was so impressed by the increase in sales that they added more in house studios to the company. Most companies can not afford to build studios within their company and staff them. Tommy Vance Productions is focused on helping small to medium business with their video needs.
We had the privelege of filming the Combined Community Service Blue Jeans & BBQ Gala in June. CCS recently built a new building to help better serve the community. Some of the emergency assistance programs Combined Community Services offers are the food pantry and clothing, utility, legal, transportation assistance. CCS also offers the Project Independence Project which “is a mentoring program which helps low-income families in Kosciusko County achieve economic independence through education.”
The Blue Jeans & BBQ Gala was an event with the goal of raising funds to help pay off the mortgage of the new building. Grace with Whalen Creative Group coordinated the event. The gala was an outdoors, country theme gala on the property of the new CCS building. Guests dressed for the occasion by wearing their cowboy boots and hats.
The food was prepared by Noa Noa located in Warsaw, Indiana.
There was also an appetizer cook off between Mayor Joe Thallemer, John Tucker and Dane Miller. Guests had the opportunity to cast their vote for the appetizer cook off. And there was also an auction of items donated by area businesses.
This past March we had the opportunity to be part of Brandon and Tracy’s day. Their love and admiration for each other is obvious to everyone that has the opportunity to be around them. Brandon and Tracy initially met online and developed a friendship. According to Brandon, Tracy kept “blowing” him off. But in return Tracy responded by saying, “I finally came to my senses and agreed to meet him”. Brandon is currently serving our country in the military. Brandon’s brother is also serving in the military and was unable to attend the wedding who was also the best man. If you look closely in the video you will see that the wedding party carried a pair of military boots around the entire day. The boots were in the place of the best man at the ceremony, in the pictures and even had their own seat at the main table at the reception. I love how they included his brother in every step of their day. It was very unique, memorable and touching.
I love how the guys entered the ceremony on a limo golf cart. The bride arrived in a horse and carriage escorted by her father. The weather was amazing and absolutely perfect for a March wedding.
Thank you Brandon and Tracy for allowing us to be part of your day!
We are very excited to introduce our new website! If any of you were familiar with our previous website, you would know it only showcased weddings. However, Tommy Vance Productions offers much more than wedding videography. Tommy Vance Productions is an award-winning high-definition video production company located in Warsaw, Indiana available for travel. We produced video for commercial and corporate which include web, events, training, commercials and trade shows. Tommy Vance Productions also specializes in weddings and events.
For a while now we have been needing a website built customized to fit our needs and give an overview of all the services we offer at Tommy Vance Productions. Kevin Hamstra with 1Eighty Design did an amazing job building us a website that showcases our services and reflects our personal image. Kevin has been amazingly patient and very helpful throughout the entire process. I would highly recommend 1Eighty Design for all of your web and graphic design needs!
Along with a new website, comes a new blog. Through the blog we will keep you updated on some of our current projects and possibly address specific topics about video production. The most exciting addition to our website is that we now have the capability to stream LIVE video through our website! Live streaming would be an option for commercial and corporate events and weddings. If live stream is something you may be interested in for an upcoming event check out the demo. What do you think of our new site?
